How to customize/edit toolbar in Photoshop

Photoshop is built with its preset toolbar attached with a shortcut key in other for its users to use it effectively, have you ever thought about customizing this key or changing some settings on the preset toolbar in Photoshop?
You might be wondering how this can be possible and also trying to figure out how it can be done, well in this guide I will give you hints and guidelines on how this can be done.

Steps on how to customize the toolbar in Photoshop
Click on the Edit Menu
Scroll down and click on the toolbar
Customize toolbar dialog box will display
There are two sections Toolbar and Extra tools
How to customize/edit toolbar in Photoshop
The Toolbar is the currently displayed tool on the toolbar section of the Photoshop interface while the Extra tools are the hidden tool that does not display on the toolbar sections.
Here you can choose to change the key attached to each tool to you preferred choice, though it’s advisable to leave it the same way, you can only add keys on the tools which are not attached to any key by default.
For instance, the Add Anchor Point tool, Delete Anchor Point tool and convert anchor point tool don’t have any key attached to it, you can add one by clicking and pressing the key on the keyboard.
In this guide I will be adding P key to it since there are in the same group, so you won’t get confused while trying to switch between the keys.

Once you are done entering the key to the tools that require an update, click on done.
With this, you are all set to use your custom key and also switch between them.
Note: you can also find the edit toolbar by right-clicking on the three-dotted icon found in below the toolbar and click edit toolbar to pop up the Toolbar dialog box
