In this article, I will state out some signs that will let you know it’s a scam or how to check if a site is a scam or not.
In the past have been scammed severally with my unwelcoming experience with the sites and individuals I decided to put this write-up together to guide you in order for you not to fall, victim, as I did in the past.
BASIC SIGNS TO SHOW THAT A SITE OR INDIVIDUAL IS A SCAM
Huge Profit in Hours/days: this is the most popular means of scamming anyone, how can you invest $100 and get a $500 dollar profit within 5 to 6 dollars or $2000 to generate $10000 in 5 days, its quite strange, some promise to double your cash within an hour

I will advise if you get such an offer or investment, you should try to do away with it, it is one of the signs to show it’s a scam.

Unmatched transaction details: here they are a group of people that transfer investors to one another in a form of processes to investment, so you will have to deal with a different set of persons till you will get to the manager for the final procedure, you will be asked to pay a sum of amount for registration before investment takes place and monitoring fee.
If you notice such, please try to end the conversation/investment.
Direct/bitcoin payment to account without payment gateway: most of these sites use only direct to bank payment or bitcoin payment as the only option available for you to invest or purchase with them, in a normal setting direct to bank or bitcoin payment should be added as an option with other payment gateways.

They are various ways to check if a site is a scam or not, I will state a simple way you can easily check.
Search for reviews: it is necessary to always check reviews of any website to learn more about the said site, if you get a lot of positive reviews about a specific review it shows that the site is legit at that point in time, in a case that the reviews are negative it shows that it’s a scam.
You can check for reviews on YouTube, google search, and other searches.
Use an online antivirus: a paid version of online antivirus or malware checker helps to detect a site containing spam content by running a check on it.
Scan the site via malicious/scam authority sites: to also check for a malicious/scam site you can check via some authority scam checker website via google search.

You can check via Scamadviser, isLegitSite, Scamfoo, Urlvoid, Thesslstore, Etc.
Check for Return policy/Privacy policy: most of these sites don’t have a return policy or how your data is been used, as such no guarantee that your funds or data is saved.
Browse in incognito mode or save/private browsing: another way to check for spams site is by browsing in the private or incognito mode which will alert if the site is having malicious content.
Conclusion: this is a guide or precaution to prevent you from getting scammed, you should also check for address and also do an address lookup to see if it’s not a fake address, and also try to watch for fake reviews while making your findings.
